Welcome to the latest (long overdue) newsletter from NSDesign. We've all been so busy over the past few months (including celebrating our 10th birthday!) that we simply haven't found the time to update you on many of the exciting announcements and updates from the NSDesign team. New Start Scotland Exhibition - a massive Success!
Our decision to exhibit at the New Start Scotland exhibition at the SECC in March was a huge success, with a high number of new clients now working with the NSDesign team as a result. Let me take this opportunity to welcome the many new subscribers to this newsletter following the event, and a big thank you to those of you currently working with us on new design and development projects. We were so impressed by the show, that we’re already signed up for next year, as well as currently researching other exhibitions and shows across the UK for the year ahead.
Scottish Design Consultancy of the Year
Following our success in the ROCCO Business awards and the Scottish Software Awards, NSDesign were highly praised in the recent Scottish Design Consultancy of the year awards, organised by the Drum.
Arguably the smallest company entered, some of our highlights included us being named in 3rd spot for "Value for Money", and an impressive 2nd place for "Overall Professionalism".
Given the size and scale of the other finalists, to be named among them - let alone have better client satisfaction than most of them - is a great achievement and really confirms that we do put a massive focus on customer care.
Following the success in these awards, NSDesign were then invited to be included in the prestigious Recommended Agencies Register (RAR), which features the most highly regarded agencies in the United Kingdom.
Or in the words of RAR:
"Only the best agencies make our list. Not the richest. Not the ones with the most friends. Or the ones who pick up the most lunch tabs. Just those who are quite simply the best at what they do. Only they make the Recommended Agency Register."
Web Design Updates
Despite the economic downturn, we’re seeing no decrease in client web design and development work, and to be honest – we’re not surprised. Focussing on your website and online marketing etc is now more important now than ever, and can actually help save your business money compared to the costs associated with traditional marketing.
Some of the latest projects we’ve recently completed include a dedicated web-portal for the Download Rock Festival at Donington, and a “trade site” for one of the UK’s biggest soft drinks producers, as well as sites for a hospice in Paisley, a wood preservation company in Glasgow, and a dedicated Social Networking platform for the academic research community to name but a few!

New Clydebank Office
As you may have heard, our main offices at the Hillington Innovation centre were flooded recently, and we were forced to seek temporary accommodation. I’m keen to stress that the disruption was purely to our own company operations, and did not affect clients (or web hosting etc) in any way.
Our current home is the fantastic Titan Enterprise Centre in Clydebank, located right on the banks of the Clyde, next to the iconic Titan Crane. We've settled in nicely, and are already working with a number of local businesses in the Clydebank area with the likes of web design and SEO.
