NSDesign is TEN!
On the 15th February, NSDesign celebrates 10 years in business. It's a very proud and exciting time for everyone here in the team, and we'd like to say a big thank you, to everyone involved over the last decade. A special thanks of course to you - and your continued support and business - without which, NSDesign simply wouldn't be where it is today. Here's to the next 10.. I hope they'll be as much fun as the first!

NSDesign on the Road
Over the next few months, NSDesign will be exhibiting at a number of events giving us the opportunity to meet with a wider range of potential clients and partners. One big event we're attending is the "New Start Scotland" exhibition, at the SECC on the 27th and 28th of March. Attended by over 8000 delegates from both new start and established businesses, the event features talks by Sir Tom Farmer of Kwik-Fit fame, Dr Marilyn Orcharton founder of Denplan, and TV entrepreneur Oli Norman amongst others. Paypal Payment Option
We are happy to confirm we can now accept Paypal as a payment method for any domain or hosting account. Paypal is now integrated with WorldPay, so just choose the Paypal logo when on the Worldpay payment page. We know a lot of clients have been asking about Paypal, so we hope this benefits many of you.
Work for Free update!
Our "Festive Freebie" of working for free on December 19th was a great success, and while we managed to stir up a bit of controversy over the initiative (mainly from the Design Business Association, who slammed the idea as "damaging to the industry"), the feedback we've had has been excellent. The range of work we carried out was pretty varied, doing everything from adding some festive sparkle (custom graphics and backgrounds of a Christmas nature) to a handful of websites, to general "spam advice" and consultancy on bulk-emailing and ensuring legal compliance with regard email communications. In addition we conducted a number of site reviews, providing recommendations on improving design, usability and SEO, designed new logo concepts, and setup a blog!
In just one day we helped over 30 individuals and organisations (a few of which were existing clients) and had a seriously good time doing so. Look out for an article on our "work for free" day in next month's .NET magazine, and without doubt, we'll be doing the same next year!
Web Design Updates
Our web design and development team have been busy as always, with new sites recently finished for an Online Sweetie Shop, a major Manufacturing company, and Santa! Currently we're busy on a number of exciting projects including ecommerce sites for a Golf manufacturer and Motorcycle dealer, some clever online web-apps for a pharmaceutical research facility and a number of smaller NSBuilder-driven sites for a range of clients large and small.
